Story
Previously on Fundraising, Stephen pledged to you that he would run a marathon. And he did. He planned to do it in 4 hours, but Scotland provided slightly more hills than training in Cambridge can provide, and so the last 6 miles were a bit of a hobbling mess.
But he did it. 4 hours, 13 minutes, 31 seconds.
So, while he was on the bus being taken to the start of the marathon (i.e. the other end of Loch Ness from Inverness), someone told him about the London Marathon, and how you have to put your name in a ballot, and you have a 5% chance of being selected.
Guess who hit those odds first time?
So, I'll be running the London marathon next Sunday (23rd April). I like to raise money for these things, but this isn't you paying for me to have fun, I already bought my ticket. In fact, I want you to pay for me to work harder for it.
So the idea this year is that I will run with a playlist, and you can choose the music that I'm subjected to! £15 gets you one song.
I'm really hoping you want to inspire me, right? Or at least some of you will be kind enough.
You can check the full terms and conditions at this form where you can register your song choice (sorry, you have to copy and paste it!)

Finally, if this hits its target of £1000 (which would be roughly enough music to cover the entire marathon), I will try to record my reactions to your music in real time and produce a highlights video.
As I said on the last episode of Fundraising, I am running for the RNIB as they have supported my grandparents for their whole lives, and without this support, maybe I wouldn't exist? I spent a lot of time with my granny and granddad as a kid, so I'm significantly aware of the help they can provide to enable anyone with any kind of sight loss to navigate through life!
