Sick Kids Save Point · 12 October 2012 to 14 October 2012 ·

Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity believes no child should face hospital alone. Every day, 500 seriously ill children face a life-changing hospital visit. Children tell us it can be frightening. Parents say they're sick with worry. We want to change this. With your support, we can. Are you in?

Story

Dear Just Giving Visitor,

Sick Kids Save Point is a 24 hour gaming marathon held annually to raise money for the The Sick Kids Friends Foundation, a charity organisation that supports the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh.

Skyscanner as an organisation takes great pride in the variety of charity work that it gets involved in. Being comprised primarily of geeks, a band of Skyscanner employees were naturally drawn to the marathon and the cause.

Last year they amazed everyone, particularly themselves, by raising £1300 for Sick Kids Save Point. They also got a mention on the Skyscanner News site and were very proud to receive a special drawing from a special young boy.

This year they hope to play harder, raise more, consume more caffeine, do longer lasting damage to their mental wellbeing, but most importantly help a very worthy cause. Please give irresponsibly.

Thank you,

The Skyscanner SKSP Team.
