Sleaford's Amelia getting the chop for Sleaford Cats Protection

Amelia is getting the chop for Sleaford Cats Protection!
This kind-hearted 9 year old is having over 16 inches of her gorgeous long hair chopped off on Friday 3rd September 2021. She is donating the hair itself to the Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other conditions. However, as a third generation volunteer with Sleaford Cats Protection (her Mum, Aunts and Grandma all volunteer with the branch), she would like to fundraise for the hundreds of cats and kittens that Sleaford Cats Protection cares for over the course of a year.
As her Mum is an experienced hand-feeder, Amelia has helped to care for, socialise and name many kittens over the years - Woolley Bill, Shark and Turtle, Newark litters including the Dinosaurs and My Little Ponies, the Engine kittens Simeon and Seaweed (she couldn't say Siegfried at the time!), the Roman litter, Rodney from Rippingale who came in with flystrike, Delta and her Greek Rabble, Callie and Co, to name but a few, and most recently #TheHairstyles - a litter of kittens found abandoned in a bag next to the River in Newark.
If you'd like to support this fabulous young lady and a cause she greatly believes in, please considering donating towards her fundraiser.
