Spires Sleep Out 2017

Spires

Could you give up your cosy bed for one night to raise money for an important cause?

Charity Registration No. 1076888

Story

On the 17th November we will be swapping our comfy beds and home
comforts to sleep out on a cold November night in a park from 8pm to 6am to fundraise with Spires.

Spires is a South London based charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round. Spires work to improve the quality of life of people who are homeless, insecurely housed, unemployed or suffering from the effects of poverty, mental ill health and loneliness.

Did you know £12 can pay for a replacement ID for someone who needs to set up a bank account for their benefits

£30 can pay for a month’s travel expenses for one of our centre volunteers. Many of our regular volunteers are long term unemployed or in recovery and regular volunteering at Spires gives them new skills and experience to help them back into employment

£100 can pay for food for one week. This means 200 meals for our service users!

£500 can pay for one month’s one-to-one support for 18 clients. This includes emotional and practical support and referrals to external agencies for additional specialist care.

Please help us make a difference to our local community in supporting us. All donations big or small will make a big difference to those that need it...
