Story

I always said I would never run a marathon again unless it was London! I’ve entered the ballot so many times so couldn’t turn this chance down. Most people would probably say I should, I haven’t run further than 10k for 8 years and most of that time I’ve been injured. With that I mind I will be run/walking the distance.

I also wanted to use this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Brain Tumour Research. My brother-in-law James was diagnosed with a glioblastoma (GBM) and passed away last year. He was determined, kind, witty and supportive! He would definitely approve of this crazy idea and I will be raising a pint of cider in his name when I finish!
