Slone Capital Swim to the Isle of Wight · 17 July 2021

We celebrate difference and inspire community connection. Through amazing workshops and show-stopping performances, on stage and in schools, we empower learning disabled people, of all abilities, fostering confidence, skills, and leadership potential.

Story

On Saturday 17th July Team Slone Capital are taking to open waters and swimming 3 miles across the Solent to the Isle of Wight -  all for the incredible charity ELECTRIC UMBRELLA.

We originally set an ambitious target to raise £6,000 which we've now smashed and are now heading towards £15,500. With YOUR help we know we can do it!!!

Please support Stuart, Robert, Andy, Matt, Sarah, Paul, Justin, Richard, Liz, Kate, Tina and Tim by sponsoring us today!

Every pound you donate will help Electric Umbrella to enrich the lives of learning disabled people through music.

Before Covid struck they were putting on shows, releasing records and holding music sessions for their members in Hertfordshire.

Following Lockdown Electric Umbrella flipped all their activity online, working even harder to build, connect and empower their learning disabled community which now reached across the UK and beyond.

Their online shows and sessions have been hailed as a life line by many:-  providing vital entertainment, routine & company for 1000's of learning disabled children and adults across the UK.

Now as lockdown eases Electric Umbrella are able to get back on to the road doing what they do best - playing live, encouraging inclusion in schools and every day society, whilst using music to enrich the lives of learning disabled people.

Donating today will help Electric Umbrella to reach more people with their music, social impact and message of inclusion.

Thank you for your support!
