*UPDATE* - we have decided as a team that due to us hitting our target twice, we are going to push ourselves further. We have changed the route in which we would have walked, and the new route makes it 1083 miles! 

Slough Town Ladies Football Club are walking / running the distance between the 2 furthest hospitals in the UK (Falmouth - Wick, Scotland - 812 miles) where our NHS staff across the UK are working tirelessly and selflessly to help beat COVID-19.

Us like all other teams are missing out on pre-season whilst we stay at home, but we as a team would like to give back to the NHS to say thank you for all their help and support throughout this difficult time.

We will be doing our daily exercise walking / running (individually not as a team due to social distancing) to collectively reach 812 miles throughout the whole of May 2020 (we are also striving for further!) Our distance will be monitored on our fitness apps such at Fitbit, Strava etc.
