Story

Syria Winter Emergency Appeal

Thank you for all your kind donations and support to help us to reach the £40k target 7 days before the online campaign ends. With conditions getting worse in Syria as the war continues and we are in the winter season more aid is urgently required. This is why we want to give our campaign a final push to really show that the local people of Slough and neighbouring towns really care about the people of Aleppo!

Only you can make this happen!

Slough 4 Syria is collecting food and clothing for the war affected people in Syria. In partnership with Hand in Hand with Syria (Registered UK Charity 1145862) we are delivering aid to the war affected families inside Syria.

Slough 4 Syria has been assisting charities collecting aid to send to Syria or the Syrian refugees. In 2015, we sent over 3 containers of food and clothing to refugees in Europe and Syria, over £13k of medical items to hospitals inside Syria, and helped build homes for orphans on the Turkish/Syrian border. For the Syrian Emergency Appeal, our target is to send 5 containers of aid and to raise £50,000 pounds to assist in this project. We are confident that with your help we can reach that target.

Syria conflict: Food rations run out in rebel-held Aleppo – BBC NEWS | 10TH NOVEMBER 2016

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY APPEAL.

Food supplies are fast running low in Syria. With a lack of food, Syrians are at high risk of serious malnutrition, and in some places starvation. In Eastern Aleppo alone, besieged since July 7th, 275,000 people remain cut off from the world. Humanitarian aid being able to reach these families really is the difference between life and death. We need your help to deliver aid to as many families in Aleppo. It is time for Slough and neighboring towns to respond.
