Continuing with the success from previous years, we are looking to raise funds for Mental Health Aberdeen (MHA) and awareness in memory of an amazing friend by hosting a sevens tournament at Aberdeen Wanderers RFC’s ground.

We are looking to have a much larger tournament involving more teams and sponsors. Anyone looking to get a team together please get in contact either by messaging Liam Cronin or by emailing thesamlobbantrophy@gmail.com.

As this is in the early stages of planning more information about the day will be released closer to the date. Anyone is welcome on the day and hopefully we will have a similar if not larger turnout than last year. Your support and donations will be crucial to the success of this tournament and helping to establish the tournament within the Grampian region.

Stigmas attached to mental health, especially in young men, are still so real. This illness can strike anybody down, at any time. Mental health matters and changes needs to happen.

Its ok to not be ok.
