Fundraising for Fergus

SMA UK is raising money for Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) UK
In memory of Fergus Cocker
SMA UK is a national charity supporting anyone affected by spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic, neuromuscular condition that causes muscle weakness and loss of movement. We offer support and information and advocate on issues important to the SMA Community.

Story

21 years… yesterday and forever at the same time.

The fundraising has been phenomenal. The total sits at around £80,000. A quarter of this has supported the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Addenbrooke’s hospital. The remainder has supported the life changing work of SMA UK (formally The Jennifer Trust). From quiz nights, to race nights, to birthday challenges, to running challenges, to ridiculously long cycle rides, and the highlight of the football calendar (the Fergus Football Fives). So much fun has been had along the way and we will treasure the friendship and support always.

An amazing legacy to our precious little boy - much loved, always in our hearts.

Fergus Stewart Cocker 27th May 2005 - 30th September 2005. So short a life, so long a legacy.
