On Saturday 26th February 2022, I'm taking on the challenge of walking the 14 miles to Bedford Town's away game at Barton Rovers. The journey will start at the Eyrie on the morning of the fixture, and finish at Rovers down the A6, in time for kick off at 3pm. 

I'm fundraising for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who are the Eagles' charity of the year for this season. The team at the EAAA do fantastic work, and provide assistance for those in need at the most difficult and crucial of times. It's important that we all get behind such a valuable charity, as we never know when our friends, loved ones or ourselves will need their support. 

I've wanted to complete this challenge of walking to the Barton away fixture for a couple of years. However, the COVID situation has meant that it wasn't possible, with the fixture not being played. This year, I'm determined to complete the hike. Should the game be called off and re-arranged for later in the season, I'll be doing the same on a Tuesday afternoon for the new date.
