We fund research and raise awareness to create a world free from meningitis

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please help raise awareness and sponsor me online.

On the 15th of july 2007 i am planning on running the Bupa Great capital run in memory of my best friends little brother who sadly died on the 26th april this year as a result of meningitis.

Harry was 11 when he died,as my best friend jennys younger brother i witnessed the pain she had to go through and how strong her and her family have been the past few weeks,i can't bring Harry back but i am hoping to help prevent other families from going through the same ordeal as them.

I am hoping to raise as much money as i can for the meningitis research foundation,a charity chosen by harrys family to help raise awareness and prevent meningitis and septacemia.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Meningitis Research Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

I HAVE NOW COMPLETED THE 10K RUN IN HYDE PARK ,IN 1HOUR and 19 mins.I JUST WNAT TO SAY THANKYOU TO EVERYONE THAT HAS SPONSORED ME AND IF YOU HAVN'T ITS NOT TOO LATE,THIS WEBSITE WILL BE OPEN UNTIL THE 15TH SEPTEMBER SO GET DONATING!

Meningitis is deadly; killing and seriously disabling in hours. Small children and young adults are high risk, but all ages can be affected. Globally 1,000 people die daily. We fundraise to invest in research, campaign for vaccines, provide symptom information and support those already affected.
