The Shotesham Church Council have taken the lead in co-ordinating the work to date.  We have held several fundraising events over the last year and a half, secured a grant from Norfolk County Council, and contributed significantly from our own funds - but we need about another £20,000.

We can't do this alone, and we'd hate to abandon the project at this stage.  That's why we've decided to invite you all to contribute whatever you can afford to the preservation of this important part of our heritage. This worthwhile project will be a focus for the village as we prepare to celebrate 60 years of our Monarch’s reign in June - but to have the work finished by the end of summer there is no time to lose. We have a stonemason willing to start but we need to have the balance of the money now to employ him.
