Africa Enterprise Trust does exciting work in Zambia with poor and vulnerable children and young adults. We run Family Homes for street kids and abandoned children. We run a Computer School which develops key work skills. And we run other Vocational Training and Community support programmes.

Story

Welcome to my homepage! I'm running the London Marathon in 2015 to raise funds for the Africa Enterprise Trust (AET). AET is a small NGO, with a big heart. It works with people in Zambia who haven't had the same privileged life chances that many of us take for granted. It helps children who have lost at least one parent to HIV/AIDS, and sometimes both, by putting them through school. It helps adults by giving them essential skills training, enabling them to get jobs. And in doing these things, it genuinely helps to turn round communities.

Even if your donation feels small, it will make a big difference. AET doesn't spend money on large 4*4s or salaries. Instead, it puts the money where it has most effect - into giving opportunities and support to those who need them. I'll be really happy to talk to you about some of AET's many success stories if you're keen to find out more.
