Team Snowden - Journey to the top !! · 8 April 2017

We support children and adults with profound learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities and/or complex health care needs. Our aspiration is to enhance social experiences, develop independence, support individual interest and help to build resilience to every day change in life.

Story

Eight of the DHL JLR Linefeed finance team (Jonathan Powell, Claire O'Donoghue, Sue Willetts, Suzanne Fawcett, Nicola Whing, Aleksander Czarkowski, Jack Leeman and Lorna Taylor) are making the journey to the top of Snowdon because we wanted to do something great for the local community.  One of our group work with a local charity, The Norman Laud Association (founded in 1961) who provide specialist respite care for children and young adults with special needs. This gives families and careers a much needed break away from the extreme challenges of everyday life and provides the children with a caring and stimulating environment.   A home from home experience is enjoyed by all that attend.

The children and guests have a range of learning disabilities, physical disabilities and health care needs which are met in a number of ways in both the charity's centres based in Wylde Green, Sutton Coldfield.

The Charity relies on the support and generosity of those in the community to continue to offer the high standard of service and care for the children and families.

So come on !!!  let's make a difference
