Story
We have decided at very short notice to take on the Snowdon Triple Challenge on the 8th of June to raise funds for our Vital life-saving charity - The Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
Each member of the team is wanting to take part in this Challenge for their own personal reasons which you can read below:
Lottie & Tom
Personally, for Tom & I, we are fundraising for Wiltshire Air Ambulance in memory of Tom’s amazing, and very much missed Dad, Alan. This May it will be a year since we lost Alan.
There is no donation too small, so if you can donate to this amazing charity that would be amazing & we would be very grateful indeed!
Steph & Oakley (Steph's son)
With my eldest son Oakley being type 1 diabetic, I'm never sure when or if he may go Hypo or DKA and need to be taken to hospital A.S.A.P. We have never needed to call the air ambulance, but living so rurally it's just amazing knowing it's there and saving so many with life-threatening conditions. We hope we never have to call on them, but value everything they do.
Shelley & Kristan
As an Ambassador for the Wiltshire Air Ambulance for a number of years, we recognise the incredible work and role that the Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides to all in the area.
It's a service that anyone at any time may need. Knowing that they can respond and be with you within a matter of minutes - especially in rural areas like ours is life-saving to so many people.
It's an amazing charity with fantastic people working within it.
If you are able to donate to our fundraising page we would value any donations as every little helps such a wonderful charity.
To those who have already donated thank you so much!!
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire and surrounding counties. It needs to raise £3.75m a year to continue saving lives, but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no National Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.
