I had never been a "Cat person", that was until we got Grumbles. She was meant to come into my life and change my view on pussy cats, and boy did she do that, and more!!.

Just a little bit about her, she was from Cats Protection and they urgently needed a home for her as they had no room. She was all alone in a cat box, she had been mis treated, flea infested and almost died due to a heart issue. But she pulled through and i am certain she was meant to come into my life.

As i said, she totally changed my view on pussy cats, she was just the most adorable, loving furry creature i have ever met. She became very attached to me, followed me about everywhere like a stalker, waited for me coming home etc. The amount of affection that cat gave was simply undescribable and i will never ever forget her.

Her real name was Sophie but we named her the Grumbler or Grumbles due to the noise she used to make, it was just like a grumbly noise. Whenever she made the "Grumble" noise her mouth would be closed and her belly would suck in, it was the most bizarre noise for a cat. I also taught her to give me a paw like a dog does, which was amazing to see. All i had to say was "give dad a paw" and she would. She made your heart simply melt.

Without getting into details, she saved my life..literally, and that is how special she was and is another reason why she meant the absolute world to me and i miss her every single minute of every single day.
