The Flying Seagull Project: Founded by entertainer Ash Perrin in 2007, the Flying Seagull Project has gone on to spread love, light and laughter to hospitals, orphanaes, deaf/blind schools, marginalised communities, refugee camps and slums around the world.
They believe that everyone - man, woman or child's - right to put aside the cares of life and smile for a while. They work with widely varying groups in several countries to help bring smiles and happiness to people, whether as Clown Doctors for children undergoing medical treatments or through arts, crafts workshops and music.
The Seagulls have run projects in 15 countries including home in the UK, Cambodia, India, Ghana and mainland Europe. From school classrooms in shanty towns, hospitals to refugee camps, they work with local organisations, charities and leaders to identify groups in need of a smile.
They aim to give those in need the opportunity to play and laugh and plant a seed to let their happiness grow.
The Flying Seagull Project are currently in Bangladesh setting up a safe space for the thousands of children caught in the largest refugee camp in the world. Please click here to see a snapshot of what they do.
