Snowdon at Night Trek · 7 August 2021 to 8 August 2021 ·

Our team will be climbing Mount Snowdon (1,805m) at night to watch the sunrise over Snowdonia National Park. Trekking Mount Snowdon during the daytime forms a great challenge, but by using only torches to light your way is another level!

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On the 14th December last year our world was flip turned upside down. Our mum was diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer that had spread to bones and Lymphatic system.

St Raphaels Hospice have been amazing from the beginning and have helped all of us so much already. They are self funded and rely on donations to keep up the incredible work they do helping over 1,000 terminally Ill patients each year as well as their families.
They offer home-based and in-patient care, well being services and bereavement support. Knowing they are there and will be for this whole journey is a massive comfort.

So here we are with some of our closest friends about to start training for climbing the biggest mountain in Wales by moon light. OK we know its not everest but we have to be the most unfit ladies in the whole of the South.

Although unfit 🤣 these ladies that are heading up the mountain with us have been our friends for years and we have shared some of the hardest times with all of them. They are all taking part with us but also have other experiences close to their hearts to wish to participate too so we really are excited to be doing this together for such a great cause.

Anything you can give will mean so much to us all and we thank you all in advance xx
