Circle Line Walk · 21 May 2016

Snowflake School is a Special School in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea opened in September 2008. We are a small independent school that caters for a maximum of 15 children ranging from 5 years to 14 years with a diagnosis of Autism.

Story

Snowflake School staff always challenge ourselves to be the best we can be and to do the very best for all the children that we teach. Sometimes the work is hard, but when we see the children mastering new skills and enjoying learning, any tiredness goes away and we are happy to see that we have been able to help them make progress.

Each year we aim to give the children an opportunity to experience a residential trip in the countryside. This is an adventure and a chance to generalise skills in a totally unfamiliar and exciting setting. These activities are inevitably costly and in order for funds to be raised for a trip this year, on Saturday 21st of May, we will be walking the length of London Underground’s Circle line.

The walk is 16 miles long, and staff will be dressed in a snowflake theme. The journey will begin and end at Snowflake School in Earl’s court, and a photo diary will be kept, showing the staff at each tube stop. Furthermore, thanks to technology, all the photos will be posted live on our facebook page and other social media.

It will be a long but beautiful walk, and we hope that you will want to support us by making a donation.
