Story

GB’s top Snowsport athletes swap skis for bikes in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support

The British Alpine Ski Team and British Nordic Ski Team along with their coaching staff would like to thank everyone who has supported them taking part in the Macmillan Cancer Support Etape Caledonia cycle challenge which took place on the 17 May.

The team of 15 took to the saddle for the ’s largest closed cycle event over an 81 mile course through the rugged and challenging terrain of Highland Perthshire, and put in some good performances despite the disruptions to the race.

Please continue to support the Team in their quest to raise £2500 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor the athletes: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Donations will be received until the 17 August 2009.
