I am running this half marathon to say thank you to the Stoke and North Staffordshire Deaf Children's Society.  My brother was born profoundly deaf and this charity has supported him (and us) along the way.  The SNSDCS organise family days, parties and regular meet up's which ensures that Charlie has a deaf peer group which he loves.  The charity is run by a group of volunteers who are passionate about improving the lives of deaf children.
