Sohil Khan Water Well Fundraiser

Waqar Arif is raising money for Ummah Welfare Trust
In memory of Sohil Khan
Ummah Welfare Trust was founded in 2001 with the goal of challenging the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.Surely we belong to Him. And to Him shall we return.

Sadly our beloved brother Sohil Khan (25) left this temporary illusional dunya to start his eternal journey to the Akhirah via the Barzakh on the 17/05/21.

The blessing of clean Water is something we take for granted , be part of the project and donate towards providing clean water to those in need. Each drop you provide is a deed in itself.

Please keep him in your sincere dua's.

Such is the reality of death and what comes after it. Every one of us shall taste it whether poor or rich; healthy or sick, old or young; leader or led and none of us can escape it.

“Indeed! Whatever Allah gives or takes belongs to him and everything is predestined by Him."

No donation too small.

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said:

“The best charity is giving water to drink.”

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said: “The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity.”

Abu Hurayrah (r.a) reported that Allaah's Messenger Sallallaahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam (Peace Be Upon Him) said: "When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for three types: an ongoing Sadaqah* (charity), a Knowledge (of Islaam which he learns and teaches others) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'aa for him." (*Providing water through these water wells is an act of Sadaqah Jariah)
