I had the pleasure of being able to give skiing a go last year in May 2021 thanks to a friend of mine at Solent Ski Club. Everyone there was friendly and welcoming and I was made to feel right at home. Being able to have freedom on the dry slope and being supported to be able to do that felt great. I've had to overcome a LOT of challenges in the past 2 years and to be able to do something I never thought was possible is a strong testament to the club for how supportive and encouraging they are especially with there mantra that skiing is truly for everyone to have a try at.

What I plan to do is walk 30 miles in and around my local area. This is the exact distance it would take me to walk from my home to the club where they ski the second Sunday of every month.

Anything big or small would be a great help to my cause. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this and I will keep you posted and update when I start my 30 mile walk. I will do it in stages day by day until the 30 miles has been accomplished.
