Story

THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR PAGE!

At approximately 10.30am on 16th August 2009 Tim, Jo, Ollie, Lou and Ben will be swimming the Solent for the Portsmouth & Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards.

The team will be donning their rubber wetsuits, brightly coloured swim hats and attempting to swim 3 miles across the Solent dodging jellyfish and unidentified floating objects.

It's for a brilliant cause, the Portsmouth and Southsea Voluntary Lifeguards rely on donations to keep the beaches and waters safe during the summer months - so any donations will be greatly appreciated!!

A big thank you to everyone who has already supported us, we need to reach our target, we are almost there but need to push over the next few weeks for more sponsorship, so please spread the word.

The training has been going well with Lou, Ollie and Tim training in open water in London, Jo has been pounding the pool in Cambridge and Ben as a late entrant has been training hard to play catch up!
