This year marks the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. Former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. Since then, Rob and his family have campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support other families living with MND. Robert (our founder) sadly lost his own battle with MND on December 10th 2016, setting up his wonderful charity before he passed. At the Robert Sinclair Davidson Foundation we help young families living with financial difficulties due to life limiting and terminal illnesses. This marathon also falls just one day after what would have been Robert's 41st birthday. We have a team of fantastic people running for our charity, dedicating so much of their time to train and fundraise. Our runners are: Carolyn Abrahams, Laura Ross, Andrew Saffer, Elliot Jackson, Solos Psarias, Tom Mulaney.
