We exist to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society. We believe that home is everything.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I’ve created this to raise funds for Shelter so they can continue to help the homeless in their time of need.

In the current climate, it is important to remember those in need, especially the homeless who have seen a drop in donations and a lack of available food/shelter.

The homeless are increasingly at risk and are feeling let down and left behind. Food and medication are in short supply and fewer people are on the streets and willing to donate due to self-isolation and fears of contamination. Shelter does amazing work but needs our help to continue, the more we can do to support the homeless through Shelter, especially in times of uncertainty, the better.

To support, I will be attempting to break the world record for the Greatest distance travelled karting on an outdoor circuit in 24 hours by an individual.

The attempt will take place at the British 24 Hour Kart Race on 7/8th August 2021 at Teesside Autodrome, Middlesbrough.

I am supporting Shelter because I believe everyone should have a safe and comfortable place to stay and call home. The money raised will help fund Shelter’s helpline, which provides vital advice and support to anyone struggling with bad housing and homelessness, 365 days a year.
