The Solstice Cycle 2010 is going overseas - across the Irish Sea - for a ride from Rosslare in the south-east of Ireland to Shannon on the west coast, a total of just over 140 miles.
One team will be setting out on Thursday, 10 June for a 2-day ride, stopping for the night near Clonmel. Another team will set out on the morning of Friday, 11 June, aiming to complete the whole distance in a single day.
The ride itself will be the culmination of months of planning and thousands of miles of training.
Please help us change the lives of hundreds of children and adults in one of the poorest countries in the world. This project is live and well ahead in the planning - a team of Architects from London Metropolitan University have drawn up plans for the building, a site has been sourced and £10,000 of the total £30,000 has already been raised.
The quicker we can help them reach their total, the quicker the school can be built - in fact, if we can raise the money by September, the school could be built and ready for use by April of 2011!
