Somalia Drought Emergency Appeal

Somalia Drought Emergency Appeal · 5 April 2022
In Somalia, 1.2 million children are acutely malnourished and risk losing their lives.
Make your Zakat count this Ramadan by supporting ARF life-saving projects in Somalia.
Severe drought has deprived farm produce for thousands of families, forcing them out of their home villages and into the unknown.
Everyday challenges people face:
• Lack of water resources
• Drying crops and animals dying
• Families mired in extreme poverty
Somalia is seeing an ever-increasing surge of malnourishment, disease, displaced citizens and death. The ongoing famine conditions have left the entire population devastated and heartbroken.
Somalia Crisis:
5.6 million people are food insecure.
2.7 million people cannot meet their daily food requirements.
African Relief Fund provides emergency relief to strengthen African communities amidst droughts, famines and conflicts. ARF have been distributing food packs to our brothers and sisters in Somalia, Djibouti and Ethiopia.
Each day we aim to reach more people in need of our care.
