WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

In celebration of World Water Day, on 23 March 2012 the Song Works groups in Hackney and Crouch End will be joining with other choirs from all over London - as well as Sing for Water founder Helen Chadwick - in the Ocean of Song concert in the beautiful church of St John at Hackney.

We're raising money for WaterAid, which does fantastic work bringing clean water, safe sanitation and hygiene education to people in Ghana and Malawi.

As well as raising money through ticket sales, we're asking people to sponsor us. A small amount goes a very long way: just £15 can give one person access to a lasting supply of safe water, improved hygiene and sanitation.
