so we’re creating a last minute fundraiser page to support greyhound awareness league. A group of us are running our first half marathon on Saturday, abilities range from slow but enthusiastic to greyhound fast. 

As many of you know our family and more specifically our mother Janet dedicates  a tremendous amount of time to help get them fostered then re-homed. 

GAL gives greyhounds and lurchers the chance to live as family pets and have a life like Robin the greyhound who was our loving and beloved family member whose gregarious and courageous personality made him a pleasure to be with. His love of life was infectious and any walk, day out or holiday was made more pleasurable when Robin was present. Robin made us smile, made us laugh, made us happy, helped us create memories and when he died he brought us together. (You can tell this part was written by Janet, tears were definitely  shed.)

We all now volunteer with GAL as emergency fosterers, dog walkers, doing vet runs and transportation. We give our time freely but GAL needs money to pay for food and vet work. All money raised goes straight to supporting dogs go from racing hound to homed hound. Please give what you can afford to help more dogs live a life like Robin.
