Story
I'm taking part in The Lullaby Trust's February Fifty Challenge. The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families.
In February
2021 I am going to try to do the 50K challenge for the charity Lullaby Trust
who helped me when my daughter Julie died at 7 weeks in 1983.
Over the
last year smaller charities have really suffered because fundraising events cannot
be held in the same way so I have decided to support the charity that is close
to my heart.
I shall be doing
the walking challenge and my husband will be doing what I call a Sir Tom Moore
challenge. He has Parkinson’s so will be
walking with his walker 50 times around Hag Hill Rise estate in February. If
you live round our area I am sure you have seen me and my husband out walking
nearly every day.
