Story

When your nick name's Boozie Soozie and you can sing the pogues ' fairytale of New York' in a manner that makes Shane MacGowan sound sober. You know you either have a problem or your heading for one..

Giving up alcohol started as a bit of a throw away joke amongst friends stating I could never do it. Admittedly at first I agreed.

For two reasons firstly I write cocktail menus and train professional bartenders. Both involved tasting. I teach the professional bartending course at Plymouth City college also.

Secondly my nemisis. Nerves when singing, over the years it has become a real thorn in my side tackling my fear of standing infront of others. My only way past this was to drink.. alot!

Not only is giving up alcohol a way of tackling my fears but it is also an everyday challenge through work :-)

It will also be a great health kick to enable my liver to recover haha...

No pressure but would love for you to donate to an incredible charity if not for me but for those who really could do with your support :-)

Much Love
