A global Big Phat Quaranquiz followed by a 'taster' Cookery Class hosted by Ahmed! Danny & I will be hosting 6 rounds of social quizstancing gold with an exciting prize for the winner! Then we'll learn how to make a traditional Lebanese brunch consisting of Lebanese bread, hummus and chickpea salad (also perfect for an evening snack - thank you time zones). Also, if you get a... taste ;) for this, Migrateful are doing £15 cooking classes throughout COVID-19, so you can see what they're offering too!

Ahmed, our chef, is truly one of the most incredible humans I've met!  A few words from him! “My name is Ahmed and I’m from Lebanon. I was shot by two bullets while I was working as a paramedic for the Lebanese Red Cross 10 years ago, so now I’m in a wheelchair. My hobbies include wheelchair basketball, swimming and cooking. I gain so much pleasure from cooking, I love the smell of freshly prepared food – especially when it contains garlic and coriander! Since Lebanon is located in the heart of the Middle East by the Mediterranean sea, its food combines the tastes and traditions of several civilisations and Arab cuisines. I look forward to teaching you the secrets of Lebanese cooking!”

All £$€ donated via this page goes to Migrateful - who are an incredible charity supporting and empowering refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

Migrateful have cancelled all their cookery classes for the foreseeable future. As a small social enterprise relying almost exclusively on ticket sales to fund their program, they are being very hard hit by class cancellations. This crisis is putting at risk the very existence of their organisation, and with it the support we are offering our beneficiaries, some of the most vulnerable in society. 

They need to raise £40,500 in order to survive the next 3 months and are currently at 75% of that goal. Please donate what you can to support them at a time of crisis - and this'll be FAB FEEL GOOD FUN!
