Those of you who know me, will know that exercise and I are not exactly the best of friends. And so in a fit of whimsy (ok, ok, I was attracted to the fact that lots of really pretty colours will be thrown at/over me in the event), I signed myself up for a 5km run on Sunday 5th October 2014. I thought to myself that whilst having 'fun' running, I could also try to raise some money for charity. Unfortunately, the run has been cancelled, and there are no dates suitable for me this year. But I will continue to 'train' and as soon as a Run Or Dye comes up in 2015 that is near me, I will re-sign up. So please keep donating - I haven't given up!!

I have decided to raise money for Canine Partners. I read about this charity in the Daily Mail more than a few years back and I thought what a lovely organization. I read about these beautifully trained dogs who help humans in their daily life and forge that special bond so precious between dog and human. These amazing dogs are trained to assist in day to day tasks, and in doing so, give wheelchair users a strong sense of independence. I have never forgotten about them, and now I have a chance to help both man and dog with your help. No donation is too small.
