Hello everyone.

First of all, thank you for having a look at my Just Giving page, I know there are hundreds of people posting their links everywhere at this time of year.  

I decided to join up for the Bupa Manchester Great 10k run in January with my friend Ellie. Now, as some of you may know, I have been exercising a bit more frequently, including running. However, the furthest I have done is only 5k so this 10k is going to be quite the challenge. Never the less, it's all going to be for an incredible cause.

I decided to run for Macmillan as I have seen the extraordinary work they do at my own place of work, talking to patients and the families. Not only that, they have helped our family out too. I can not begin to describe how passionate, dedicated, immense a people they are. How they guide patients and families through the scariest, darkest and confusing times is unbelievable. I certainly couldn't do it. So I will just be doing the running :)
