Story
After seeing people raising money for different causes during the coronavirus pandemic I have decided that I would like to raise money for a charity.
I have chosen to try and help people who have cancer as this has affected lots of people who I know. I have looked at different charities and I have chosen The Christie at Macclesfield.
The Christie at Macclesfield is a new hospital which is being built to provide cancer care for patients in Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire. They are aiming to raise £23 million for construction of a new centre in Macclesfield where Christie patients will be able to receive outstanding cancer care, closer to home.
I have set a target of raising £100 for the charity. To do this I am going to run 50 miles in 50 days. This is starting today, the 24th May and my last run will be on the 12th July.
Please give all that you can to help me raise money and help build the new cancer hospital.
