We provide mental health treatment to veterans from every service and conflict

Story

On the 10th July 2009, many lives were torn apart by the deaths of five young soldiers serving in the 2nd Battalion The Rifles regiment, in Afghanistan. The five soldiers were Corporal Jonathan Horne, Rifleman William Aldridge, Rifleman James Backhouse, Rifleman Joe Murphy and Rifleman Danny Simpson, my partner at the time. The effects of that fateful day are still being felt by friends and families but also by the soldiers who witnessed the events.

The 10th July 2019 marks the 10 year anniversary. In memory of those lives lost and those still battling on, I will be doing a skydive with the Red Devils to raise money for Combat Stress, the UK's leading charity for veterans mental health.
