Story
Steph, Sam, Pauline, Kate & I have joined together to raise money for Michael Sobell Hospice. You'll see our fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
Michael Sobell is an AMAZING Local Hospice and Treatment Centre. It is a place that supported both Sophie's parents and Steph's parents.
In September 2016, Michael Sobell was instrumental in helping Sophie's father to be able to tolerate the pain that he was in towards the end of his life. This was also a huge help to Sophie's mother in what turned out to be their final weeks together. Michael Sobell achieved this through their unique patient centred approach to palliative healthcare.
When Stephanie's father became gravely unwell in November 2017, they were there to help him and his family giving the best possible care at the end of his life. They did this by giving him the utmost dignity and by keeping him comfortable, cared for and safe.
Michael Sobell Hospice is the specialist palliative care centre based at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, enhancing the care of patients with life limiting illnesses and providing support for families and carers. They need to raise over £1.6 million to maintain patient care at its current level. In order to help them do this we are taking part in the 10 mile 'Ladies in the Night' walk on Friday 15th June 2018. As a team we really want to raise £1000 and would be so grateful if you could spare any money towards our cause for this amazing charity.
Michael Sobell is very important to us all for the care they give to their patients and their families. This is just our small way of saying “thank you” so if you are able to donate, we will be extremely touched and grateful.
