Sky Dive · 25 February 2013
As many of the people reading this will know, I was paralysed aged 16 in a fatal car crash in America. From that day my life was changed forever. Life in a wheelchair isn't exactly easy and even though its been a tough road to recovery, I haven't let it stop me doing the things I have always wanted to do and enjoy.
The charity Back Up first inspired me to carry on living the life I did before my accident.. Until I was introduced to Back Up, I thought my life was over. They showed me that I could do anything if I set my mind to it.
Hence the Sky Dive! I know it's mad, but it's something I have always wanted to do. One of those things that has to be done before you die. And because I nearly did, whats the point in waiting! And if I can rasie money for an incredible charity at the same time, then thats a bonus!
I hope you can dig deep and donate as much as you can. It really means the world to me and of course to the Back Up Trust who rely on donations and fundraising events like this.
Thanks for reading my story!
