I suffered from depression during my late teens and early twenties, so I understand the importance of having someone to talk to and a place to go when you feel distressed, isolated, and unable to cope.

It's because of my personal history that I am really happy that my workplace, Sibelius Natural Products, has selected local mental health charity Oxfordshire Mind to be our charity fundraising partner. Oxfordshire Mind provides indispensable services to people who are struggling with mental illness throughout the county – including housing, talking therapies, crisis centres, and workshops.

As part of our fundraising efforts, I’ll be taking part in the Virtual Blenheim 7k run on the weekend of 10th August in aid of Oxfordshire Mind. Donations of any size are welcome! And know that not only will you be supporting me with my fitness endeavour, but you'll also be supporting countless people in need across the county who rely on these important services.
