Sometimes, it's not enough to turn off lights, recycle and help big companies work out how to cut their energy by 20% across their portfolios. Sometimes we just have to get up and actually DO something. So, although initially hooked by the promise of a panda ears headband, I have signed up for the London-Surrey 100 ride as part of the WWF team because it's one way I can make bigger ripples of positivity for our planet.
Some of you will know that I do some cycling from time to time, but I can assure you that I have never made it past 60 miles without being in abject misery! This ride is the length of a small Tour de France stage and will take months of dedicated training from me to prepare for it! I began in December but have hit my first major set back - the January lurgy!
My target is to raise £4000 for WWF and all the fantastic work that they do.
