In September 2022 myself and 15 other individuals brought together by the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce will be setting off to conquer the highest peak in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for Sheffield Children's Hospital.

This was due to go ahead in September 2020 but COVID19 had other ideas & we have had to postpone, the positive to be taken from this is even more training can be completed as well as hopefully even more money raised for an incredible cause! 

Working for The Children's Hospital Charity I see first hand the incredible work of the hospital and the difference fundraising makes. I am continuously inspired by the bravery and determination of the children & their families at what can often be a difficult time.

As a charity we are currently fundraising to transform the Cancer and Leukaemia Ward at the Hospital. The ward see's children from South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and as far south as Northampton. The department is one of twenty principle treatment centres in the UK and also cares for patients who have other blood problems such as bleeding and inherited disorders. Whilst the care on the ward is world class the facilities are not. Any donation you can give will make a huge difference in building a better future for our hospital!
