Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I’m taking part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk on 30th April 2023 and walking 23 miles to raise money for Alzheimer Scotland. 

There are an estimated 90,000 people with dementia in Scotland. Around 3,000 of these people will be under the age of 65 years. The impact dementia has on individuals and their families is something I see day-in, day-out in my job as an Older People Social Worker, but is also something that has affected me and my family on more than one occasion. 

Alzheimer Scotland provide a wide range of helplines, groups and services to those impacted by this illness. Any donation you can give to help fund their continued work will be very much appreciated!
