Just4Children are fundraising for a life changing operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR) which will give Lucas John the life he deserves.

Lucas is my friends little boy who is in desperate need of an operation to enable him to sit,stand, and walk one day! Currently this isn't funded on the NHS as he has stage 4 cerebal palsy. But he has the determination, I've seen it...and if he is that determined to get around however he can, then I want to help him do this easier and better!

I have a busy life, mother to 5 incredible children, married to an amazing husband and work part time as a community nurse! I love my life, and feel extremely blessed. I want to push myself because there is no reason I can't do this! I've always wanted to run a marathon and now I have a reason to do it!
