I recently took part in the London Marathon for the British Heart Foundation and my son asked me if the next time I do something mad such as a marathon (with only 10 months to learn how to run), then can I do it for him.

Of course, I said yes!

Which meant I had made a promise to my son, and I wasn't going to break it.

So, this year I am doing a number of different challenges, including the Jurassic Coast challenge with my husband, a triathlon in London and then in 2025 I am back to London for the London marathon once again!

The Jurassic Coast challenge will be absolutely amazing to do but with all Si's old injuries and the killer achilles causing him a lot of pain, I'm hoping we make it to the end!!

Even though Si reckons it is just an "easy" walk...!

The more we can do to raise awareness of autism and give families the support they need the better, and let's have some fun along the way!

The money I raise will transform lives, change attitudes, and help us to work towards a society that works for autistic people.
