Hi everyone! 

I am so lucky to have been selected by Project Trust (visit here to find out more about their fantastic work http://projecttrust.org.uk/project-trust/ and given the opportunity to spend 12 months teaching young children in this beautiful but very poor country - helping them to learn English which will enable them to escape the poverty trap young Hondurans often find themselves in…and at the same time be able to become fluent in Spanish myself! 

I will be living as a 'local' with a host family and become very much part of the community - not a tourist at all! My adventure starts this summer and I can't wait to do something so exciting with my life between finishing my A levels and starting university next year.

I have been saving hard since summer 2014 (because I knew I always wanted to do something like this) and have various fundraising activities underway to raise the money needed to send me to Honduras e.g. babysitting, selling unwanted items from home, school fundraisers, etc ( see how I'm doing under my Offline Donations total) - any extra donation, however small, would be really appreciated to help me on my way.
