Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm taking part in the 'Ramathon' Half Marathon in Derby on the 4th June 2023. This will be my first (and probably last) half marathon! Up until now I've only ever done one 10KM race and the furthest I've run non-stop is 11KM ... so all I've got to do is double the distance I've run before and with just 2.5 weeks to go ... easy, right!? 

Safe to say I'm not a natural runner, but I've been training super hard and I'm stubborn at the very least ...

I wasn't sure whether to try and get sponsorship for the race as I'm doing such a fantastic job of putting pressure on myself already! However, the Tristan Voorspuy Conservation Trust is doing such wonderful work here in Kenya and I know any donations will be so appreciated by Imo and the team. So, if the idea of me struggling through 21KMs (probably in the pouring rain) amuses you, then please donate so that at least some good can come from this torture!
