Story

As a family, we are collecting donations for 'Manchester and Cheshire Dogs Home' in the memory of our beloved Roy Woodward, who we sadly lost at the beginning of January.

Dogs were always a huge part of Roy's life. He grew up with his first dog 'Tex' whilst living with his Grandma, who also rescued dogs looking for homes- having 6 of them in total! 'Lassie' the German Shepherd (a rejected police dog) being the one whom Roy spoke most fondly of.

Roy rescued his poodle cross 'Ricky' from the side of a motorway, whilst driving in his lorry. 'Candy' joined the gang soon after.

'Tyson' the black lab was Roy's best friend- a dog with real character. Then lovely 'Oscar' the shih-tzu became Roy's shadow- following him everywhere he went.

As dogs were such a huge part in Roy's life, we would be grateful if you could donate to a charity that love and care for dogs just as much as Roy did.

Thank you 🐾
