Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, I will be running two half marathons to help raise funds for Brain Tumour Research, a charity very close to my heart.  I am going to run both The Great North Run (September) and The Royal Parks Half Marathons (October) dressed as the most magical unicorn!

The Brain Tumour Research Charity has been a charity I've been passionate about supporting since my mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour out of the blue in January 2017. As a family, we've been incredibly lucky that she has managed to make a full recovery but others don't receive this news. The charity was where we turned to to find out more about her tumour and if I can help to play a small part in raising funds to help to support research in this area, that kills more children and adults under 40 than any other cancer, it's a small act to make.

Thank you so much for your donations.
